Apple would explore new ways to improve the App Store

According to Bloomberg , Apple would have been a secret team, responsible for an extensive overhaul Store search tool. One hundred employees of the company have already joined this elite roop, including Todd Teresi, vice president Apple and former head of iAd. One of the major developments currently being tested is to offer developers to showcase their applications in user search results, a privilege that would, of course, be proposed against a small financial fee. This method, already in place in the apps store on Google Android, allows Apple to increase profits from
the App Store, which is limited to the 30% tax levied on sales of apps and subscriptions. However, such a system could also harm the independent developers and new entrants in the shop, whose resources are often limited and that could well be more difficult to know and distribute the fruits of
their work. Other changes are also on the Cupertino test bench, particularly in order to improve navigation in the App Store.
